Tim Duggan is an author, founder and optimist. Heβs the Chair of the Digital Publishers Alliance, the industry body representing over 150 titles from Australiaβs leading independent digital publishers where he helps connect, support and protect this vibrant and important media sector.
He has co-founded several digital media ventures, most notably Junkee Media, a new media publisher which was acquired by ASX-listed oOh!media. Tim writes a weekly column on work for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, and has published 3 books that sit at the intersection of purposeful modern success.
Claire Kimball Founder & Managing Director, Squiz Media
Launched in 2017, The Squiz is an independent digital news service delivering agenda-free newsletters, podcasts and videos for busy people – particularly women. The Squiz Today podcast was the first of its type in market and is consistently one of the top news podcasts in Australia. Before The Squiz, Claire spent 11 years as an adviser to the Howard Government and, in 2010, was press secretary to Liberal leader Tony Abbott during the yearβs extraordinary election campaign. Before starting The Squiz, she was the Director of Communications at Woolworths Group. Claire has also driven the development of Squiz Kids, which produces the world-leading Newshounds media literacy program helping the next generation become critical consumers of news and information online.
Natalie Harvey CEO, Mamamia
Natalie Harvey is the Chief Executive Officer of Mamamia, Australiaβs largest independent digital media brand. A veteran of the media industry with over 20 years of experience across both publisher and agency landscapes, Natalie is a leading voice on the future of media, audience engagement and the intersection of technology and content.
Before stepping into the CEO role at Mamamia, Natalie served as the network’s Chief Revenue Officer and previously held the position of National Sales Director at the Seven Network. Her career is defined by a commitment to elevating Australian voices and building authentic connections between brands and audiences. She has been a driving force in navigating the industry’s shift from traditional broadcast models to dynamic, digital-first ecosystems that prioritise deep engagement and trust.
