This award encourages a broader media coverage on financial media reporting and rewards excellence for journalistic endeavour and professionalism.
The winning journalist will receive $10,000 and have their name inscribed on the Honour board permanently displayed at the National Press Club.
Category winners will receive $1,000 and a certificate.
The awards are open to employed and freelance media professionals, or writing and production teams, who report on; business and company news, policy analysis and regulatory issues, personal and consumer finance, global and Australian financial markets and/or technology business issues.

Five hard-copies of each submission including five copies of any videotapes, audiotapes of press clips accompanied by a brief written statement back-grounding the submission and a current CV of the applicant should be posted to:
