Andrew Tillett

Andrew Tillett is an award-winning Federal Political Correspondent for The Australian Financial Review and former secretary of the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery. In a two decade long journalistic career, his first job was as a cadet on his hometown paper and was later promoted to state political reporter covering 20 community mastheads for News Corporation in Sydney. He moved to Canberra in 2008 to work for The West Australian newspaper and joined the AFR in 2017, where he specialises in defence and foreign affairs.

In his spare time he enjoys reading, running and wrangling his toddler.
